Booking Policies and Information

Please read these policies carefully. By booking with SoMiBeauty, you agree to these terms and conditions, which apply to all transactions on this site and in person.

Booking

It's quicker and easier to book online and you'll be able to see my availability weeks in advance. If you wish to drop me a message or call instead, I'll reply as soon as I can and will take your details and a payment to secure the booking.

£10 of the treatment cost (or full payment if the treatment totals £10 or less) is payable to secure the booking.

Rescheduling / Cancellations / Amendments / No-Shows

SoMiBeauty has a 48 hour rescheduling, cancellation and amendments policy for all appointments. Please note the following if you need to make a change to your booking:

• More than 48 hrs before the appointment start time - you can amend your booking online. If cancelling, you'll receive a refund minus £2 for admin fees
  
• Within 48 hrs of the appointment start time and 'No shows' - please contact me as soon as you can (this includes making amendments, e.g. you’ve booked gel polish for fingers and toes but decide to only get your fingers done). I'll try to fill the slot and will let you know once the appointment has passed whether I have been able to:
  
• If yes, a refund will be made to you minus £2 for admin fees
  
• If no, 100% of the total treatment cost is due and any deposit collected will not be refunded. Failure to pay any remaining balance will result in no further bookings
  

Lateness

Please let me know if you’ll be more than 10 minutes late. if there isn't enough time to complete your original treatment it will be made shorter or I may need to cancel it and apply the ‘No-Show’ cancellation terms. In both circumstances the original treatment cost will be charged

Location

• My room is on the first floor and only accessible by stairs
  
• Please come alone, I'm unable to accommodate children and won't be able to carry out your treatment, but you'll still be charged the full treatment cost as it will be too late for me to fill the slot
  
• There is free, on-street parking outside my house. The nearest bus stop is the 365 at 'Canal Street'
  

Treatment Upgrades / Add-ons

You can add extra services during the booking process. Add-ons may include French tips, nail art, nail fixes and removals. Should you wish to include an add-on during your appointment, I'll do my best to accommodate it but it cannot be guaranteed.

Discounts and Offers

Discount codes are subject to change and cannot be combined with other offers or treatment packages unless otherwise stated.

Repairs

Should you encounter any issues, repairs are free within 48 hrs of your appointment if due to application error; this is at my discretion, . After this time and/or if not due to application error, repairs are chargeable as follows:

• For nail treatments, the first nail costs £5 and additional nails are £3.50-£5 each depending whether gel polish, builder gel or extension is needed. Please let me know if more than 3 nails need fixing as I'll book out more time
  
• For lash treatments, please book an infill or new set according to the percentage of lashes remaining
  

No refunds are issued after a service is provided. I'll ask you to return so that I can rectify and resolve any issues. Lateness and cancellation policies still apply to repair bookings.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers can be collected in person, received by email or posted for 50p postage charge. They are valid for a one year time period, after which they will expire and can no longer be used. Should a treatment cost less than the gift voucher amount, the remaining balance will be returned as another gift voucher (and not by cash/transfer). Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Parental consent and Minimum age for treatments

For nail treatments, I can offer services to children aged 15 . A signed parental consent form will be required and the parent/guardian will need to be present during the whole appointment.

I am unable to offer any other treatments to under 16's.

For those aged 16 or over, parental consent is not required. I may ask for identification showing proof of age if needed.
